These heat exchangers are designed to use heat transfer oil to recover heat from blast furnaces used in steel mills and enable the recovery and the reuse of waste heat from hot-blast stoves. The temperature of recovered waste heat is approximately 300°C. As the heating tube length is approximately 10m, this is a comparatively large heat exchanger.

Designed to recover the heat emitted from blast furnaces at steel works. Heat-transfer oil is used to recover the high-temperature exhaust heat output from the hot-blast furnace so it can be reused.
