Steam condensers are used in locations such as petroleum terminals and plants in desert regions that require a large quantity of water but have poor water supplies. The condensers cool steam using axial flow fans to recover water, enabling the effective reuse of water. This system is also used for cooling high temperature oil such as heat transfer oil in locations where the supply of cooling water is scarce. The condensers can be up to 10m in height.

An axial flow fan is installed beneath the heat exchanger for forced-air cooling, making it possible to reuse the boiler water by cooling and circulating the exhaust steam inside the pipes.
