Gas coolers are designed to dehumidify as well as produce dry air, and are widely used in food production plants. Most products are used at a gas temperature of 200°C, and can be maintained using a mist separator for removing moisture. Gas coolers are mostly manufactured from stainless steel for food use, and can also be manufactured for sanitary specifications.

Coolant (chiller water, brine, etc.) is used to cool and remove moisture from the gaseous medium (gas or air). A removable mist separator is built-in.
